ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment about my friend. Still in shock. My partner is really upset as it was his good friend and he had worked with him. We were in Amsterdam in April and got some great photos. I got one of the photos printed with him and my partner and put it in the sympathy card for his wife and wrote "We'll always have Amsterdam". She said to me the other day that was the best time they ever had on that holiday with us and they were both talking about it a few days before he died. It is these memories that keep us going.
How wonderful that you had that trip with them to remember and to have the photo to send to his wife. I know when I've lost people dear to me that the remembrances of them that many people wrote or personally related to me were priceless and still precious to me. God bless.

Thanks, the piles of shells, whelks, are awesome, and yes beautiful. They are used to make artificial reefs to help oysters thrive again in the area.
