Thanks. The Monarchs are very scarce this year so I was really happy to help six along to maturity. Birds don't eat the poisonous caterpillars, but many bugs are not affected by the toxins from the Milkweed. I also raise Black Swallowtail butterflies throughout the summer. ReplyDeleteI was able to watch one today as its skin split and a lovely chrysalis came into view. It's really amazing.
