I had quite a frustrating search trying to find a photograph that matched the prompt for today's Daily Picture Theme. Finally, I found this beautiful photograph of a lilac we planted this past Spring. Oh my, it exceeded every expectation and hope I had for it. The flowers were huge, the smell amazing, the color divine. I can't wait until it blooms again. Thankfully, it has thrived in the sideyard where it is planted. Oh wait, the whole reason I used this lilac for the prompt it is called Yankee Doodle. I think it is a good choice for Y.
